EPISODE SIXTEEN: NOV is SCI FI MONTH!!
Happy November to our vastly growing gang of vigilant geeks!! With the stress of the holiday season now approaching, it is important to take a few minutes every now and then to escape the rat race of reality and relax. Whenever I try to escape from my stressors for a few moments, I usually like to escape into deep space! I know I am not alone in this, and that is why Holden and I have decided to deem November as the inaugural VIGILANT GEEK SCIENCE FICTION month!!! During the month of November, we will be providing you with articles and podcasts on a variety of sci-fi related subjects, such as the best sci-fi reads from Marvel, DC, Valiant and Image Comics, great sci-fi televisions series such as Firefly, Star Trek, Agents of SHIELD, The Twilight Zone and Doctor Who, as well as epic sci-fi films!! I will also be reviewing the next installment of BOSTON COMICS ROUNDTABLE and RIVERBIRD STUDIOS infamous sci-fi comic book anthology, Outbound Volume II. All of this will lead up to the epic STAR WARS podcast episode the last week of the month, in preparation of the new STAR WARS: The Force Awakens motion picture to be released in theaters December 16!!
