8 Bit Cinema!

Video game programmers David and Henry Dutton of Cinefix have taken a unique creative liberty in creating their own 8-bit versions of some of our favorite comic book and sci-fi related movies. From Star Trek, to GI Joes, to classic Tarantino flicks, these guys cover all bases! Below are just a few of my many favorite videos done by Cinefix. Enjoy, and if you like their videos, feel free to subscribe to Cinefix on Youtube and watch more of their videos.

MARVEL MANIA!!!

After yesterday's DCU casting news that Jesse Eisenberg will be playing Lex Luthor in 2016's "Batman Vs. Superman," most of us were down in the dumps to put it lightly. Thus, I figured it would be appropriate to celebrate this spring's Marvel releases as sort of a "pick-me-up." As Marvel's "Phase II" is well underway, (kicking off with "Iron Man 3" last summer and followed swiftly by "Thor 2: The Dark World" this past November), we are in for a real stampede of Marvel silver screen action very soon. This spring will no doubt be considered as "Marvel Mania," starting off with "Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier" in April and followed by both "The Amazing Spiderman 2" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in May. Being a huge fan of the Marvel cinematic universe, I am very pumped about all three films. However, I will let you form your own opinion after viewing all three trailers below:
